Yoga for Strength & Reconnection

This 6-week one-to-one yoga program is designed specifically for athletes and individuals who partake in an active lifestyle - whether you're a weightlifter, runner, cyclist, have a repetitive physical job, or simply looking to improve mobility, strength, and mental clarity. Each weekly 60-minute session will focus on key areas of tightness and imbalance, using targeted asana (physical postures) to enhance flexibility, injury prevention, and functional movement. We’ll also explore breathwork to improve endurance and recovery, practical elements of yoga philosophy to deepen awareness and mind-body connection, and meditation to sharpen focus and reduce stress. This program is built to complement your training/lifestyle, optimise performance, and bring greater balance - both physically and mentally.

Please note: different biological and physiological makeups can influence flexibility, strength, and movement patterns, and therefore each session is designed to support your unique body. Pranayama (Breathwork)

Each session includes simple yet powerful breathwork practices designed to support endurance, aid recovery, and sharpen mental focus. Whether you're pushing your limits in the gym, on the road, or in daily life, pranayama helps regulate the nervous system, improve oxygen efficiency, and build resilience under stress. These breathing techniques are accessible and practical - tools you can take off the mat and into your training or everyday routine.

Asana (Physical Postures)

The core of each session focuses on targeted asana designed to address common areas of tension and imbalance, particularly in the hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and lower back. Whether you're lifting, running, cycling, or working in a physically demanding job (or even at a desk!), these postures are tailored to enhance mobility, support functional strength, and prevent injury. Expect a strong emphasis on alignment, stability, and breath-led movement to build body awareness and unlock range of motion.

Meditation

Each session ends with guided meditation to cultivate mental clarity, focus, and calm. These short, accessible practices are designed to help you manage stress, sharpen concentration, and support mental recovery, which is ideal for athletes or anyone navigating high-demand routines. With the support of a restful savasana and optional one-to-one relaxation techniques like head massage (for in-person), this final stage of the session offers space to reset and recharge both mentally and physically.
